As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you are responsible to manage the supplier portfolio with focus on their performance with operationally focusing on quality and associated risks. They create risk-based quality incoming plans for new products. SQE manage supplier complaints and has the overall responsibility about it with covering root cause analysis and corrective measures by supplier. SQE is managing and supporting new raw material qualification (FAI), being an active member of NPI process.
Your tasks and responsibilities
• Supplier performance monitoring: Analyze supplier quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and consolidation. Support, evaluate and coordinate strategic suppliers. Support, perform periodically supplier evaluation and define measures.
• Supplier Qualification & Evaluation: Perform qualification, re-qualification and for cause audits. Review NDA & QAA contracts.
• Supplier Complaint Management: Overview of Supplier complaints, reviewing measures of supplier improvements. Overall responsibility of all supplier complaints and coordination of internal reworks.
• NPI Support: Lead the new part approval process, initiating and releasing FAIR of supplied materials.
• Incoming Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain Incoming inspection control plans. Establish inspection plans for customized articles.
Required qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Degree or Diploma in engineering subjects.
• More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality sector. Experience in Electronic Assembly or Wire Harness manufacturing industry considered favorable.
• Awareness in ISO9001, 14001, 13485, 45001 and IATF16949.
• Knowledge on Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma methodology and Problem Solving Techniques.
• Experience in generation of First Article Reports, PPAP reports, Control Plans and Risk Assessments Reports.
• Should possess the art of people handling/ decision making/ data analyzing / problem solving/ controlling and coordinating.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
