As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you are responsible to manage the assigned customer portfolio strategically and operationally focusing on quality and associated risks. They create risk-based quality plans for new products by defining inspection criteria & method and transfer the knowledge to QC. They regularly track performance, lead Customer assessments and in the event of Customer Complaints lead Corrective and Preventive activities within cross functional teams.
Your tasks and responsibilities
• Customer requirements & compliance: As a member of the Customer Organization, understands and captures Customer requirements through the supply chain and overall life-cycle management.
• Quality planning & Risk management: Active participant in NPI projects (prototype, Zero series and Series). Understands Customer requirements, develops and deploys Quality plans to achieve them, while assuring risk mitigations are put in
place.
• Customer performance and improvement: Monitors product quality and Customer performance, creating weekly/monthly data reports, deep diving into the root causes that trigger the CAPA process.
• Customer complaints: Initiates and coordinates corrective activities in the event of a Customer claim. Initiates and guides problem solving or corrective action reports (8D) / follows up on corrective and preventive actions together with cross functional teams.
• Customer assessment: Leads and supports Customer assessment and audits, in collaboration with cross functional teams. Follows up internal corrective and preventive activities.
Required qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Degree or Diploma in engineering subjects.
• More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality sector. Experience in Electronic Assembly or Wire Harness manufacturing industry considered favorable.
• Awareness in ISO9001, 14001, 13485, 45001 and IATF16949.
• Knowledge on Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma methodology and Problem-Solving Techniques.
• Experience in generation of First Article Reports, PPAP reports, Control Plans and Risk Assessments Reports.
• Should possess the art of people handling/ decision making/ data analyzing / problem solving/ controlling and coordinating.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
