System Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer with deep expertise in Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, server management, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure while supporting business operations and driving technological improvements.
Main Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and domain/sub-domain structures.
• Perform server updates, migrations, and troubleshooting across Windows and Linux environments.
• Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
• Manage cloud computing environments, particularly Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and redundancy strategies.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply corrective measures.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
• Document configurations, processes, and best practices for system operations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system engineering or administration roles.
• Strong knowledge of:
− Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP
− Domain and sub-domain management
− Server updates, migrations, and troubleshooting
− Network infrastructure design and maintenance
− Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Understanding of security principles and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of Configurating and Maintaining SQL Servers.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with virtualization technologies (XenServer, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
