Medtech insights: Swissmem Medical Manufacturing event at Variosystems
Around 25 participants from 20 Swiss companies recently gathered at Variosystems in Steinach for the Medical Manufacturing event, diving into the world of Medtech production. The event was organized by the Medical Manufacturing sector of the Swiss industry association Swissmem.
The program featured practical presentations and engaging discussions on digitalization, innovation, and optimization in Medtech and Life Science production. Inmedis GmbH showcased how quality management can be digitalized, Helbling Technik highlighted methods and opportunities for more efficient production processes, while Swissmem presented the latest trends in technology and innovation. Variosystems brought digitalization to life: a concrete use case demonstrated tangible benefits and measurable results in MedTech production.
“Swissmem created the optimal setting to explore digital production topics in depth and foster professional exchange with peers from the Medtech industry,” stated Stefan Walther, Chief Operating Officer at Variosystems.
Another highlight for participants was the tour of the production facilities. Seeing Medtech products being made firsthand sparked enthusiasm and prompted discussions. The day wrapped up with a networking aperitif, where conversations and personal connections were at the center.
