Restructuring of management team now complete
With the appointment of Stephan Sonderegger as Group CEO at Variosystems, the Swiss end-to-end electronics partner has completed the reorganization of its management team and is now set to proceed with its global growth strategy.
With effect from May 1, 2022, Stephan Sonderegger will be applying the considerable expertise he has acquired in the development of growth and technology companies, most recently as CEO of Swisslog Healthcare, as well as his many years of international management experience to driving the company’s strong organic growth over the next few years and to strengthening Variosystems’ service offering with targeted acquisitions.
Co-founder Norbert Bachstein will continue with his responsibilities for Global Sales and for managing the Steinach site. With Raymund Scheffrahn as Group CFO, Stephan Krainer as Head of Supply Chain Management and the two long-standing site managers André Bättig (General Manager of the volume production sites) and Yves Lafortune (General Manager USA), the senior management team is now complete.
Company founder Peter Germann retired as planned on March 1, 2022. Variosystems thanks him for his many years of service and wishes him all the best for the future.
